Who presents the Ebby Award?

Our Friends Place has proudly presented the Ebby Award annually since 2005. Since 1987, Our Friends Place has helped girls and young women break the cycles of abuse, neglect, poverty and homelessness.

Who is eligible to be nominated for the Ebby Award?

Nominees may be an individual (any gender) or an organization who has made significant contributions and/or achievements for the advancement of girls and/or women in the North Texas area. Current members of Our Friends Place Board of Directors are not eligible for nomination.

When is the Ebby Award presented?

Ebby Awards are presented in-person as part of Our Friends Place’s Annual Gala, Auction & Casino Night, our signature fundraiser to support our work for young women in the community.

How do I nominate someone for the Ebby Award?

Use the online form via the link above to submit a nomination. Attachments such as letters of endorsement, resumes, articles, photos, etc. can be submitted in the online form.

How are Ebby Award recipients determined?

Nominations will be reviewed for completeness and then shared with the Selection Committee, comprised of Our Friends Place’s Past Board Presidents.
