Transitional Living Centers
Our award-winning program changes the lives of young women in North Texas.
Our Transitional Living Center (TLC) program provides a home and community for single women ages 18-24.
Our first TLC opened in 1992, and we opened the second center in late 2015.
Each year, we serve about 40 young women at two apartment-style TLCs located in Old East Dallas. They offer award-winning programming, including a life skills curriculum and intensive case management from staff who live on site.
Every young woman gets her own bedroom and shares the kitchen, bathroom and common living area with two roommates.
Our residents come from many backgrounds.
